Description
The BirdDog BD4KQUAD is a multi-channel 4K NDI encoder and decoder designed for professional IP video production, enabling four simultaneous 12G-SDI input and output channels to be converted to and from full-bandwidth NDI streams. Based on BirdDog’s custom NDI silicon, it supports resolutions up to 3840_2160 at 60fps and includes a built-in cross conversion capability for flexible signal workflows. The unit features integrated tally indication, audio intercom support, and an OLED display, along with network connectivity via Gigabit Ethernet with PoE+ and an SFP+ cage supporting high-speed fibre connections. Its compact aluminium construction makes it suitable for demanding broadcast environments requiring multi-channel NDI processing.
