Kelly P Perkins
Keynote Speaker
Kelly Perkins translated an interest in journalism, design and technology into a marketing role that had her writing code, terminating cables, building racks as well as developing marketing strategy, communications and advertising creative. Following her career at Vaddio, she worked on the audiovisual integrator side to help solve the elusive “selling services instead of products” question at AVI Systems. She then moved into the non-profit side of the AV business, where she was responsible for the development, direction and implementation of strategic initiatives and programs at the NSCA Education Foundation.
Currently she runs a marketing consulting firm for several audiovisual organizations.
Michael Wall
Presenter
He writes.
He builds communications.
He manages Digital Communications at SFM. Michael Wall makes sure that every written word or planned spoken message that is placed in front of an audience is given the thought and insight it deserves, and is crafted with the due diligence necessary to connect. When he’s not building B2B e-commerce infrastructure, he’s helping his peers at SFM develop content that’s emotionally engaging and targeted to the right audience regardless of where they live online.
Tamara Chanoine
Presenter
Tamara Chanoine is an analytical and extremely detailed individual who has built a successful career in brand management and project management at Mazda, Hallmark and Loto Québec and as a freelancer. She recently started at SFM as marketing project manager for Shure Systems. She takes great pride in working on projects that bring success to her client and inside the organization. One thing about Tamara is that she is focused and driven and an incredible team player who has the ability to point you to the best places in the city for wine and fine dinning and she’s never short of a great story to pepper a conversation.
Jessica Selin
Presenter
As marketing project manager for Pro Audio at SFM, Jessica Selin has a self-starter mindset, a passion for social media and yields tangible concrete results that generate leads both on and offline. Jessica first started her career in digital marketing doing social media and AdWords for a beauty company, eventually evolving her skills online to incorporate growth hacking strategies at an Industrial Design start-up. All of this before moving on to help lead the marketing & communications department at Godin Guitars, introducing her to the industry and offering a smooth transition into the world of Pro Audio. When Jessica is not running campaigns for QSC, Pioneer DJ, Genelec, and more, she is honing her creative skills through photography and Haiku composition, how cool is that?
Lisa Griffiths
Facilitator
Lisa has held many positions within the marketing team at SFM before coming on board as Marketing Manager. She has always had a passion for bringing people to together to work towards a common goal. Her previous experience involved managing cross Canada marketing for a non-profit at Apathy is Boring and worked in Business Development at Ernst & Young. She is passionate about connecting marketing to overall strategic company goals and working with peers inside the organization to develop experiences that make an organization and their customers thrive.
