Starplayer bass with short scale, Custom Line case - Deep Black
Description
The Duesenberg Starplayer Bass Deep Black pairs high-end German design with vintage aesthetics and a distinct acoustic response. Built on the iconic framework of the Starplayer TV series, this semi-hollow instrument features an arched laminated spruce top combined with laminated flamed maple back and sides, housing a central sustain block that minimizes unwanted feedback while maximizing punch and clarity.
The comfortable maple neck sports a medium-D profile and an Indian rosewood fingerboard that undergoes precision PLEK processing for smooth playability across all 22 jumbo frets. Driven by two custom Duesenberg Bassbucker humbucking pickups, it delivers thunderous lows and crisp overtones. Unique to its workflow is a handy mute switch on the pickguard, letting you silence the output instantly without altering your volume blend settings. It ships ready for the road inside a rugged, flightcase-quality Duesenberg Custom Line Case.
