The Electro-Voice RE92L is a professional-quality miniature cardioid electret condenser lavalier microphone engineered for unobtrusive miking of speech and instruments. Its excellent sound reproduction, super-low self-noise capsule, and tiny form factor make it an ideal choice for challenging acoustic environments.
Featuring a tight cardioid polar pattern, the microphone provides high gain before feedback and effectively rejects unwanted ambient stage or room noise that omnidirectional lapel mics often invite. It comes equipped with a 4-foot attached cable terminating in a sturdy in-line preamp module with a switchable 12 dB/octave high-pass filter, connecting easily via a standard 3-pin XLR to any console supplying 24 to 52 volts of phantom power.
