Description
The Electro-Voice EVID-EC4.2 entry-level ceiling speaker provides clear background music and paging performance without requiring a premium budget. It features a 4-inch low-frequency woofer and a coaxially-mounted high-frequency tweeter housed in a shallow, low-profile steel back-can enclosure with a UL 94V-0 fire-rated ABS baffle.
Equipped with an integrated multi-tap transformer, the speaker supports both 70V and 100V distributed audio lines or an 8-ohm bypass mode for low-impedance amplifiers. Settings are easily adjusted via a convenient switch located directly on the front baffle. Designed with installers and modern interiors in mind, the unit includes a sleek white bezel-less magnetic grille, tile bridge rails, and a C-ring for safe, flush-mount installation in drop ceilings.
