Job Statement

You will be reporting into the Digital Content Manager to implement and improve marketing automation tools and processes as it relates to email marketing and lead nurturing strategies to optimize marketing efforts for the organization. You’ll own the email marketing strategy and execution as well as associated tools and metrics. Your role will see you working cross-functionally with the Sales Operations team, Marketing Analytics Specialist, Content Writer, and the Graphic Designers to optimize email communications based on audience activity. Your expertise will help the Marketing team ensure that email communications are optimized, while acting as an advocate for sound legal compliance practices. You’ll play a key role in helping us develop clear, data-driven audience segmentation with the right messaging, at the right time.


  • Work with Content Writer and Graphic Designers to create and execute all email campaigns.
  • Act as the subject matter expert and advocate on evolving privacy and compliance regulations (e.g., CASL)
  • Support manual and triggered campaigns for all stages of the customer lifecycle, including prospecting, nurturing, post-purchase, loyalty, retention, surveys, and transactional emails
  • Vet email content for grammatical quality and consistency according to industry and in-house style guidelines before deployment.
  • Build effective target audiences from our database and segments for every message to drive engagement and revenue performance against KPI goals.
  • Manage and execute email marketing calendar and ensure alignment with business priorities, demand forecasts, and internal stakeholders.
  • Work with Marketing Analytics Specialist to implement findings such as web-behavior to drive messaging and content personalization.
  • Devise and execute A/B tests and interpret results to suggest improvements.
  • Provide regular campaign performance reports that highlight and contrast relevant KPIs.
  • Keep up to date on the latest cross-industry email marketing trends and email marketing strategies.


  • A communications degree, marketing degree, or equivalent experience.
  • 2-3 years of relevant work or industry experience.
  • Background in music, event production, entertainment industries an asset.
  • A demonstrable track record of managing multiple concurrent projects.
  • High proficiency with marketing automation and email tools (e.g., Hubspot, Mailchimp, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Marketing), Excel, PowerPoint, and project management software.
  • Self-starting, resourceful, and creative along with excellent analytical skills.
  • Excellent French and English language skills (both verbal & written).
  • Strong business writing skills.
  • Strong ability to communicate goals and objectives to internal stakeholders and external vendors.
  • Drive for consistency and attention to detail.
  • A team player.
  • A personable and professional attitude.
