Job Statement

You will be reporting into the Digital Content Manager to implement and improve analytics tools and processes to optimize marketing efforts for the organization. Your role as analyst will be to use the data to derive insights that can help guide the marketing efforts towards better results and metrics. You will help implement and improve the analytics tools and processes as well as the main user of these tools. Your role will see you working cross-functionally with the SEM Specialist, the Social Media Manager, Marketing Program Managers as well as the operations teams. Your expertise will help the marketing team better understand our target customers for maximum audience alignment. You’ll play a key role in helping us develop clear, data-driven strategies that reach our audiences on the right channels, with the right messaging, at the right time.

Responsibilities

  • Develop tactics and define metrics to assess the effectiveness of existing marketing and communications programs.
  • Configure and improve analytics tools across SFM’s digital platforms.
  • Merge omni-channel data into central dashboards and heads-up displays.
  • Optimize reporting capabilities to help communicate ROI of marketing services across the organization.
  • Implement and continuously evaluate data gathering methods, including surveys, interviews, questionnaires, and opinion polls.
  • Interpret metrics into clear insights to drive revenue and growth.
  • Develop and deliver value-added reports to clients and management.
  • Design, develop, build, and present standardized reports and dashboards to be published regularly and broadly.

Qualifications

  • A communications degree, marketing degree, or equivalent experience.
  • 2-3 years of relevant work or industry experience.
  • Background in music, event production, entertainment industries an asset.
  • A demonstrable track record of managing multiple concurrent projects.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 suite (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.), data visualization tools (e.g., Google Data Studio, Tableau), web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Crazy Egg, etc.), and project management software.
  • Self-starting, resourceful, with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Good French and English language skills (both verbal & written).
  • Strong business writing skills.
  • Strong ability to communicate goals and objectives to internal stakeholders and external vendors.
  • Drive for consistency and attention to detail.
  • A team player.
  • A personable and professional attitude.
