Your style and music taste is unique, so why should your headphones be anything near ordinary? Pioneer DJ, the industry leader in DJ technology and software innovation invites aspiring artists to embark on their DJ journey with its new, customizable HDJ-CUE1 DJ headphones. Available in two different models, wired and wireless Bluetooth, these durable, pro-style headphones combine quality audio performance, comfort, and personalization to ultimately deliver the perfect pair of DJ headphones.
The HDJ-CUE1 headphones are optimal for beginner DJs and music enthusiasts alike. Each model features a professional look and feel, rich sound, foldable design and a high-quality finish – all for a modest price. Artists and audiophiles looking for a wireless approach to music monitoring and personal listening can select one of the HDJ-CUE1 Bluetooth models.
“Headphones are no longer solely just a tool in an artist or music lover’s kit, they’re a fashion statement, a driver of self-expression,” said Yoshinori Kataoka, President and CEO, AlphaTheta Corporation. “The HDJ-CUE1 headphones empower artists to exercise their personal style and aesthetic without compromising sound quality.”
Equipped with the same drivers from the professional XDJ-X5 model, the HDJ-CUE1 headphones are specially tuned to accentuate important low bass and kick drum frequencies for mixing. This accentuation enables artists to detect specific details in their music and makes for an easier, more comprehensive track selection process.
Pro-Style Design and Comfort
The HDJ-CUE1 incorporates the look and feel of Pioneer DJ’s professional headphone line. The HDJ-CUE1 wired model comes in a dark silver finish for a high-quality look, while the Bluetooth model comes in a black, white or red matte finish to fit any style.
Both models are designed to be lightweight and fold neatly for a compact fit in an artist’s bag. The HDJ-CUE1’s swivel mechanism enables artists to turn the ear cups a full 90 degrees. This allows for artists to easily listen in one ear while the other cup rests on the side or back of the head, or for headphone draping around the neck. The short, coiled cable on the wired model is lightweight to prevent tangling and easily stretches to allow for free movement during performances.
Built to Last
DJing can put excessive stress on headphones. The HDJ-CUE1 models are designed to handle heavy use, with each moving part passing Pioneer DJ’s strict in-house durability tests. Extra-strong metal sliders in the padded, comfortable headband offer reliability and extend headphone life. The HDJ-CUE1 cable’s bayonet connector prevents accidental disconnections, while the L-type mini-jack decreases the likelihood of knocking it out of place while DJing. Artists can remove the cable from the headphones following use to prevent stress on the contacts.
Available in black, white, and red, there’s a pair to match your style. Artists looking to express their unique personality can customize their HDJ-CUE1 headphones with the HC-CP08 accessory packs (available separately). Accessory packs include two replacement ear pads and a detachable coiled cable in either orange, yellow, green, blue or pink.
Bluetooth Wireless Technology (HDJ-CUE1 Bluetooth Models Only)
The HDJ-CUE1 Bluetooth models empower artists to monitor and enjoy their music wirelessly. Artists pair the headphones with their device and can adjust the volume, or take phone calls, all with the touch of a button on the earcup. When ready to begin DJing, artists simply connect the included cable to disable Bluetooth, the microphone and volume buttons.
