Description
The NETGEAR Align Controller (GB406-100NES) functions as the intelligent layer above standard AV-over-IP switches, engineered specifically to address the complex requirements of modern broadcast studios, live events, campus AV, and corporate installations. Instead of forcing integrators to assemble separate standalone units for network management, core routing services, and synchronization clocks, the GB406 natively hosts the NETGEAR Engage platform, provides onboard PTPv2 Grandmaster and Boundary Clock capabilities, and runs essential network services (DHCP, DNS, NTP, and Syslog) directly on a hardened Ubuntu and Docker-based architecture. Powered efficiently via PoE++ with an included AC adapter backup, it delivers sub-microsecond clock synchronization and secure remote cloud access capabilities, enabling scalable, subscription-ready managed services for professional AV deployments.
