SFM is proud to announce the release of the new OPUS-QUAD professional all-in-one DJ system by Pioneer DJ. The OPUS-QUAD puts professional DJs in control of their music, creating harmony between design, musical playability, and offers multiple advanced features such as standalone 4-deck playback. All this combines to provide a spectacular DJ experience that DJs can harness to inspire their audience in any space or location.
The unique fan shaped look of the OPUS-QUAD, with its sloping top plate, not only looks sophisticated but also enhances the operation and comfort during play. For the first time ever on a Pioneer DJ all-in-one DJ system, the OPUS-QUAD offers standalone 4-deck playback to enable versatile DJ performances. And with support for various media source types including USB-C and USB-A, the OPUS-QUAD provides DJs with flexibility.
With OPUS-QUAD, DJs can easily find tracks in the biggest music libraries via an intuitive large touch display and a new rotary selector. Once DJs create a set and begin performing, the OPUS-QUAD’s deck configuration makes performing comfortable and easy as DJs can view track information for each deck with a single glance.
OPUS-QUAD produces high-quality audio at any venue. With zone output, you even have the option to output audio that’s separate from the master audio, giving you the option to play different music genres in different rooms of a venue from just one unit.
OPUS-QUAD KEY FEATURES
Support for Multiple Media Sources
DJs can draw from various music libraries. From USB thumb drives to huge SSD drives, to plugging in a PC/Mac that’s running DJ software, or by connecting via Wi-Fi® to wirelessly play tracks from their smartphone*1 or using rekordbox CloudDirectPlay. DJs can even pair a mobile device via Bluetooth®/MD wireless technology – perfect if they want to quickly drop a request into their set.
DJs can find tracks faster and more accurately than ever before with the freshly designed user interface with an electrostatic touch module. No matter how large the music library is, DJs can use the 10.1-inch touchscreen to quickly search for songs via the keyboard or use Playlist Bank for quick navigation between playlists.
Optimized Deck Configuration and New Smart Cue
The purposeful deck layout includes a display above each full-size jog wheel. 8 Hot Cue buttons are also placed above each jog so DJs don’t need to switch their gaze when manipulating tracks or checking things such as the track information, parameter, and status of each function.
Enhanced Sound Experience
The unit’s configuration eliminates transmission loss and AD-DA conversion loss and includes a high-quality 32-bit ESS Technology D/A converter. As a result, the entire venue is gently enveloped by a pleasant sound that enhances the special experience.
Easy-To-Use Professional Effects
The OPUS-QUAD makes it easy to add texture and tension to personalize sound with the Beat FX feature. The XY-Pad makes it easy to control features such as FX Bank and channel select, as Beat FX parameters and the cut-off frequency of the filter are controlled by movement on the X and Y-axis respectively, so you can blend both effects with a single finger.
Thanks to the zone output – which can output sound that’s separate from the master – DJs can play different music in different rooms from just 1 OPUS-QUAD. For example, DJs could connect a phone to the unit via Bluetooth and set a playlist of background music to play quietly in a bar area or second room where people are socializing while they mix tracks from a USB device in the main room.
The Pioneer OPUS-QUAD all-in-one DJ system retails for $5,120.00 CAD and will be available at Authorized Pioneer DJ Dealers across Canada as of April 2023.
