LINE-X Finish Offers Additional Protection for the Demanding Rigors of Touring and Portable Sound Applications

imp-qsc315Winter NAMM 2015, Anaheim, CA (January 22, 2015) – QSC (Booth 6752, Hall A) is pleased to announce that QSC WideLine line-array systems are now available with a LINE-X polymer finish. LINE-X coatings are among the most durable finishes available making LINE-X finished WideLine enclosures ideal for the most demanding tour and portable sound applications. Combine these new WideLine enclosure options with PLD Series amplifiers and their updated WideLine tunings, and production professionals have a high-impact, line-array system that is easy to setup and configure.

“Loading and unloading gear is not only demanding on production professionals but also on the gear they use and these new WideLine finishes are designed to withstand day-to-day rigors of use that any tour grade loudspeaker faces,” states Gerry Tschetter, QSC VP of Professional Product Development. “Add to that WideLine Intrinsic Correction and Array Correction settings found in PLD amplifiers with the processing required to protect and maximize WideLine performance, and you have a system that is perfect for a variety live performance applications. Easy deployment coupled with great system performance is exactly what production professionals want in a loudspeaker/amplifier system.”

WideLine enclosures that feature the LINE-X finish will be designated with a TG (Tour Grade) suffix and include the GP118-sw-TG: 18” subwoofer, GP212-sw-TG: Dual 12” subwoofer, GP218-sw-TG: Dual 18” subwoofer, WL2102-w-TG: Dual 10” line array loudspeaker, WL218-sw-TG: Dual 18” subwoofer with integral array suspension hardware, WL3082-TG: Dual 8” line array loudspeaker, WL212-sw-TG: Dual 12” subwoofer with integral array suspension hardware.
