Example Scenario:

Every Monday morning, your team meets in the main boardroom to discuss ideas and strategies for current and upcoming projects for the week. With hybrid work models becoming more and more the norm for many companies these days, some participants are attending the meeting in-person while others are doing so remotely. Your current boardroom accommodates 8 people, and the AV setup has been doing the job so far. But recently, you’ve noticed that the audio and visual quality of your video conferences has been lacking, and the team is having difficulty hearing and seeing each other clearly. The result: meetings are interrupted or have to be rescheduled, thus affecting communication and productivity. 

So now, your organization decides to upgrade the equipment in the boardroom to provide a more exceptional audio and visual experience for all participants.

The System:

This room setup leverages components from the Q-SYS Ecosystem, as well as Shure, Visionary Solutions, Netgear, and Sony. Using a Q-SYS Core as our Digital Signal Processor (DSP) and Control Platform, we complement the room with Q-SYS Acoustic Design™ Ceiling Speakers and Surface Speakers, CX-Q Amplifiers, their Network Camera NC-110 and Gen 3 TSC Touchscreen. With the Q-SYS handling the Audio DSP, we use Shure MXA310 table mics to ensure all collaborators in the room are heard. Laptops in the room can connect to the table-mounted Visionary Solutions AV Encoder and transmit the audio & video through the Netgear PoE M4250 Series ProAV Network Switch to the Visionary Solutions AV Decoder mounted behind the Sony display at the head of the room.
