Canadian pre-sales expertise behind DJI Enterprise solutions
Application-led solution guidance
SFM’s UAS technical specialists work with resellers as a pre-sales engineering resource, translating the customer’s mission, required output and operating environment into the appropriate platform, payload, software and configuration.
Complete ecosystem configuration
Our team helps resellers evaluate how DJI Enterprise aircraft, payloads, Dock solutions, FlightHub 2, mapping software and accessories fit together for the application. Regulatory authorization, pilot qualifications and operational compliance remain the operator’s responsibility.
Bilingual, Canada-based reseller support
Qualified resellers can access English- and French-language pre-sales technical support from SFM in Canada, helping them respond to application questions and develop the right DJI Enterprise solution for their customers.
Manufacturer-managed maintenance and repair
Maintenance and repairs are performed by DJI through its Service Center under the applicable DJI warranty or service terms. SFM’s role is product distribution and pre-sales technical support for the reseller, not UAS maintenance or repair.

How Drone Technology Is Keeping Ski Resort Guests Safer in the French Alps: DJI Dock 3 Case Study
When an avalanche strikes in the French Alps, response time is critical. This DJI Enterprise case study follows Val Thorens ski patrol teams as DJI Dock 3 and Matrice 4TD help shorten the time between an alert and aerial visibility in demanding mountain conditions.
The story demonstrates how dock-based operations can move a drone program beyond occasional flights and provide an always-ready aerial capability when every minute matters.
How commercial drones deliver measurable impact
Inspection with less exposure and disruption
High-resolution visual, zoom and thermal imaging can help teams examine powerlines, substations, roofs, towers, bridges, renewable assets and industrial facilities while reducing reliance on climbing, scaffolding, shutdowns or close physical access.
Survey-grade data, captured faster
RTK-enabled aircraft, mapping cameras and LiDAR payloads can collect data for orthomosaics, point clouds, elevation models, stockpile measurements and 3D reconstructions. These outputs support surveying, construction, mining, engineering, GIS and BIM workflows.
Situational awareness before teams arrive
Rapidly deployable and dock-based drones can provide live visual and thermal information before ground teams reach the scene. That earlier aerial perspective can support search and rescue, fire response, collision reconstruction, site security and emergency coordination.
Repeatable, dock-based operations
DJI Dock solutions can support scheduled or on-demand flights from fixed or mobile locations. Consistent routes and repeatable data capture help organizations monitor sites over time, respond faster and reduce the need to send a complete flight team into the field for every mission.
From aerial capture to operational insight
FlightHub 2, DJI Terra and related tools connect mission planning, fleet management, live operations and data processing. Imagery and LiDAR data can become maps, models, measurements and shared operational information instead of remaining isolated flight files.
Commercial drone / UAS FAQs
DJI Enterprise solutions are supplied through qualified Canadian resellers. SFM distributes the products and provides those resellers with pre-sales engineering support for application questions, product selection and system configuration. Maintenance and repairs are handled by DJI through its Service Center.
Start with the mission, required data or operational output, operating environment, flight frequency and regulatory constraints. The aircraft should be selected after those requirements are understood—not before.
Depending on the application, a complete workflow may include the aircraft, payload, controller, batteries, charging equipment, RTK infrastructure, DJI Dock, FlightHub 2, mapping or processing software and field accessories. The reseller can draw on SFM’s pre-sales technical team when defining the configuration.
SFM’s UAS technical team can work with the reseller to evaluate the aircraft, Dock, software, site and connectivity requirements involved in an automated deployment. The final operating model and regulatory pathway depend on the specific mission and location.
Organizations should define the mission, operating environment, required data, internal ownership, pilot qualifications, airspace and operating requirements, privacy or data-handling considerations, and service expectations. A qualified reseller can work with SFM’s pre-sales technical team to define the DJI Enterprise configuration. Maintenance and repairs are completed through DJI’s Service Center.
